Just FYI, Jennifer Lopez isn’t going to do your laundry or cook for you, because she ain’t your mama.
According to Billboard.com, the 46-year-old singer released the lyric video to her new song “Ain’t Your Mama” this morning (April 7). Tonight, during the “American Idol” series finale, she will perform the catchy track.
The upbeat anthem, written by Meghan Trainor, celebrates a woman who is independent and won’t accept a partner who needs to be taken care of. “I ain’t gonna be cooking all day, I ain’t your mama … When did you get too comfortable, cause I’m too good for that,” sings the “Idol” judge.
Check out the lyric video below and catch Lopez’s performance of “Ain’t Your Mama” on the “American Idol” series finale tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
