Lesson of the Month

The winner of music competitions throughout Europe, Alessandro Carbonare is the principal clarinetist in the French National Orchestra and currently teaches at the National Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome.

In this video, we see a brief interaction between clarinetist Carbonare and his student. Though the lesson is short, you can hear the technique in Carbonare’s performance. Be sure to check out Part 2 of the lesson here.
