After 23 years of providing music teachers and their students with unique lesson-oriented reading material, In Tune Monthly has decided to cease publication. This decision was made in consideration of the changes in media and current economic conditions in addition to other factors.

We thank all those who created In Tune’s content and participated in its distribution, as well as those who supported our idea of bringing carefully curated stories about the wide world of music into the classroom. We leave hoping that educators and their schools will continue to evolve the music curriculum and work hard to keep arts education an integral part of their programs.

For those interested in replacing In Tune, we highly recommend Music Alive!, which like In Tune, is a reading resource about the contemporary music world, now in its 46th season, published monthly, and available in print and digital formats.

Etymotic Earplugs are still available for sale in our store, as well as the store at musicalive.com.
